  We chose an inexpensive hotel because we knew we would be at an event all day long through out our stay, but the saying "you get what you pay for" is inaccurate - we got less. The first night, the front desk attendant came out to smoke with us; we were smoking cigarettes and he was smoking a blunt - good thing he got called back inside for an emergency; they double booked a room at midnight. The third day we were harassed by the Manager because we were talking at 11:00am and 2:00pm in the afternoon and it was "too loud". The final night (at 1:30am) my husband found a cockroach hanging out in the bathroom - when we opened the door to tell the front desk, we found another one roaming the hallways. The front desk girl didn't even seem shocked! She gave us a new room on the first floor that was non smoking (we wanted that!) - the window was not locked and didn't even have a screen, the room smelled of pot and smoke so bad that us smokers couldn't even stand it! Now the General Manager - Theresa - refuses to give me my money back. She says she has no evidence of there being cockroaches even though there is video, pictures, and her front desk lady acknowledged them that night! Happy travels :)
